How to prepare the negroni cocktail
Mix our negroni directly in an Old Fashioned glass, a low tumbler glass used for liqueurs and cocktails on the rocks, that is, with ice cubes.
Use the jigger (an hourglass-shaped dispenser) to dose the exact parts of the ingredients.
Let’s start by pouring 30 ml of Campari into the glass. Add 30 ml of sweet red Vermouth with the jigger. Then add 30 ml of Gin.
To avoid that the melting ice can water down the cocktail, always remember to add it at the end.
Mix with a bar spoon, a long-handled spoon used by bartenders.
Garnish with an orange slice.
